Services Available

East Campus Specialty Services offers Physical and Occupational Therapy services provided by a team of specially educated clinicians who address patients whose neurological dysfunctions, orthopedic upper extremity dysfunction or lymphedema interfere with their ability to perform daily tasks.

Beaumont therapists perform biomechanical, musculoskeletal, and neuro-developmental examinations to determine any movement impairments causing the patient's injury or performance deficits. The patient’s independence and safety with daily activities are evaluated. Manual hands-on techniques are integrated with customized, functionally progressive exercise/activity programs for the core, extremities, mobility, and safety. The ultimate goal of therapy is to return each patient to their optimal functional level. Families and caregivers are included in treatment and education.
