Emergency Medicine Residency

The Emergency Medicine Residency Program incorporates the facilities of Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak campus, Beaumont Hospital, Troy campus and Detroit Receiving Hospital.

The program is organized as a three-year program beginning at the PGY-1 level (1,2,3). There are several distinguishing characteristics of our residency program. We treat a broad, high acuity Emergency Department population in an area encompassing large volumes of both urban and suburban patients. Nearly 25% of our visits are in the pediatric age group. We provide an extensive critical care experience with 6 months of Intensive Care Unit rotations.
