Beaumont Health utilizes MediTract TERMS, an online reporting system for Physician Time Study reporting and approving.
Several improvements have been made, including:
- There is one time sheet per physician (rather than one time sheet per role).
- The CARTS activity list used to report your hours is restricted to those activities included in your employment contract. If, for example, you are contracted for an Administrative role but not for a Research role, only the Administrative role will appear on the menu. If you wish to record activities for which you are not contracted, we added a category called “Other Non-Contracted Activities (optional).” Please note that you are not required to record time for which you are not contracted, it is simply on the activity menu as an option for physicians who desire to use it.
- Sub-activities under the CARTS categories have been streamlined. We weighed both physician feedback and sub-activities that were used in the initial reporting phase to create a more succinct list.
The system redesign has been tested by a group of physicians and we appreciate the feedback we have received. We have proposed further enhancements to the Meditract developers and will continue to make improvements wherever possible.
