Beaumont Health rolls out new visual identity, advertisements

With the announcement of the new Beaumont Health color, logo and naming approach for the eight hospitals in May, work is underway to bring the new visual identity to life. Four key projects that are in progress including new signs, an advertising campaign, guidelines for logo use and developing the new brand position for Beaumont Health.

 

Royal Oak names new Gyn/Onc section head

Barry Rosen, M.D., has been named section head of Gynecologic Oncology, Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak. Dr. Rosen comes to Beaumont from Toronto, Canada.

 

Troy Gold Card Program aims to limit patient time in EC and prevent readmission

Beaumont Hospital, Troy has recently introduced a program to provide eligible Emergency Center patients timely access to a participating physician practice for follow-up within two business days.

Beaumont seeking volunteers for lung cancer study

Physicians at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak and Troy are seeking volunteers with a diagnosis of metastatic squamous cell lung cancer to participate in research aimed at studying biomarkers and matching treatments based on a person’s tumor profile.

ICD-10 Documentation

In preparation for the transition to ICD-10 effective Oct. 1, physicians need to ensure all clinical documentation accurately and completely relays the patient’s story. The new ICD-10 system has thousands more diagnosis and procedure codes than ICD-9.
